Support the Capstone Program!
The Engineering and Computing Capstone Design (ECCD) program is a required senior level course for every College of Engineering and Computing student. Industry sponsors introduce their real-world challenges and offer their support to prepare the next generation of engineering and computing professionals. Students form teams and combine theory and practice to find innovative solutions while gaining valuable experience.

When you sponsor, you are supporting the whole aerospace cohort/class, not just 1 team!
The class can be supported either through a donation of materials, supplies, guest lecture(s), funds, or other activities. Any donated funds or materials will be distributed evenly among all student teams. Sponsors may get involved as much as they see fit.
The goal is to keep the sponsor’s time-commitment requirements as low as possible. This implies that there are no assignments to devise, no (proprietary) information to exchange with student teams, no NDAs to setup, no weekly/biweekly/monthly meetings or presentations to attend and no design documents to approve or review.
Sponsors are welcome to attend the senior design showcase at the end of each cohort, host guest or recruitment lectures, and attend presentations or demonstrations if interested (advance notice required). We are also looking for experienced mentors that can guide our teams.
